Brunswick High School 1st 136.05

The Brunswick Blue Devils Gymnastics Team had a great start to the season as a full team; coming out on top!

As a team Beam, Vault, and Floor started off pretty solid. The team had an off day on Bars, but still managed to pull out the win!

Anna Taylor, Freshman, placed 4th on Vault and 4th on Beam. She also helped the team on Floor.

Hannah Burk, Senior Captain, placed 3rd All Around, 2nd on Floor, and finished as Beam Champion.

Jordyn Thomas, Sophomore, placed 2nd on Bars and Beam, she was the Vault, Floor, and All Around Champion.

KaraBeth Nemet, Sophomore, debuted a new upgraded vault and landed, helping the team score. She contributed to the team score on Beam and Floor, as well.

Lana Dakdouk, Freshman, and Emma Gray, Sophomore, also stepped up when many of the girls had a difficult time on Bars today. They hit solid and clean routines to help the team score.

The team came out on top of North Olmstead, Strongsville, and Berea-Midpark, starting the season with a 136.05. We counted several Uncharacteristic falls and have a few injuries keeping girls off certain events right now. Also, freshman All Arounder, Sophia Tomecko, was out due to illness. We foresee a lot of growth thoughout the season and look forward to a fun 2019.

Great start, ladies.
