Brunswick struggled to get things going from the start as they finished 9th at the Stonehedge Sectional Tournament. Junior Anthony Costanzo led the way with a team high 185.

The Blue Devils were paced by Senior Josh Gerda. Leading the team with a 525 series, Josh qualified for the Northeast District Tournament on Sunday, February 24th at Roseland Lanes in Oakwood Village. Josh finished in a tie for 13th as he secured an individual qualifier spot./

“We struggled today, that simple,” said head coach Ryan Jakubczak. “We struggled across the board, we had a tough time stringing strikes and picking up high percentage spares. It was rough to see the guys get frustrated. This team put in so much hard work this season and things just did not go our way. This was the last tournament for Seniors Aaron Shook, Sal Carcione, Blake McClain, and Alex Turcheck. It was great working with these young men this season and I wish them all of best in their futures.”
