The Blue Devils bowling team struggled to get things rolling in a 130-pin loss to Berea-Midpark. The only bowler to throw a 200+ game was senior Aaron Shook (206). Blake McClain (182) and Brady Stone (195) were the only other Brunswick bowlers to reach their season average during the match.
“This was not a good night for us,” said head coach Ryan Jakubczak. “We struggled from the onset and put ourselves in a hole that we couldn’t get out of. This is not how we wanted to end our regular season. We need to step it up now that postseason is here.”
The Blue Devils finished the regular season with a 9-5 record.
Brunswick is back in action on Sunday, February 10, when they travel to Wickliffe Lanes to bowl in the Greater Cleveland Conference Championships. The tournament is scheduled to start at 2:00 pm.
