Brunswick got back on the winning track defeating visiting Cuyahoga Falls, 2408-2121.
After seeing themselves down 59 pins after game one, the Blue Devils responded and found a 146 pin lead going into the Baker portion of the match. Leading the way during the team games was senior Aaron Shook (209), senior Blake McClain (211) and senior Josh Gerda (202).
The Blue Devils quickly added onto their lead by defeating the Black Tigers 255-136 in the first of three Baker games.
“This was a good win for us,” said head coach Ryan Jakubczak. “After getting beat like we did on Wednesday, it was great to see the guys respond. Cuyahoga Falls has a good team and will be a threat in the sectional tournament. Our guys had some solid days today and some struggled. We are a good team that has not hit their full potential. I am looking forward to seeing their continued development over the next few weeks as we finish out the regular season.”
The Blue Devils travel to Elyria on Tuesday to take on the Pioneers in a GCC Conference match. The meeting is scheduled for a 4:00 start at Brunswick Zone in North Ridgeville.
