The Blue Devils continued their winning ways by defeating Medina County foe, Buckeye, 2266-2120.

Brunswick was led by freshman Jordan Tucker (227-409) as Brunswick held a narrow 20-pin lead after game 1.

The Blue Devils lead grew by defeating the Bucks 858-766 in game 2. Senior Sal Carcione led the way in game 2 shooting a 192.

In taking 2 of 3 Baker games, the Blue Devils outpaced Buckeye, 509-475.

“This was a win we hoped to have and we somehow got it,” said head coach Ryan Jakubczak. “We knew that Buckeye was going to be a tough win and they were. They had a few of their solid guys struggle and we took advantage of mistakes.”

Brunswick next travels to Columbus on Saturday to take part in the Jaguar Baker Marathon Tournament. This will take place at Wayne Webb’s Columbus Bowl (site of OHSAA State Tournament) starting at 11:30am.
