2nd Annual BAF Golf Outing
Thank you to all of our golfers, teams that sold ball drop chances and/or donated baskets, and to our sponsors. Becasue of you, our 2nd Annual BAF Golf Outing was a success. This year, we collectively raised just over $11,500 to be used to support our BHS athletic teams.
GOLF BALL DROP RESULTS!
For those who sold/purchased ball drop chances the winning numbers were as follows and the winners have been contacted. Winners were:
- Pool 1 (pink) – #483 – Kavulic family
- Pool 2 (yellow) – #483 – Upadhyay family
- Pool A (gray) – #483 – Morgan family
- Pool B (blue) – #122 – Whipkey family*
- Pool C (salmon) – #483 – Gleske family
*Unfortunately none of the 500 balls that were dropped went in the hole due to the pin placement on the wickedly sloped 18th green at Coppertop on Sunday. The winning number on Pool B (blue) is different than all of the other pools as all of the balls in that pool were not sold (including #483) so we had to keep measuring until we found a number that had been sold on Pool B (blue). Ball # 483 was 20 ft 8 1/2 inches from the hole. We then went to the next closest ball and so on until we got a winner for Pool B (blue). Ball #122 was the 17th closest ball to the hole and measured 30 ft 3in.
Thanks to the following teams for selling ball drop chances: Cheerleading, Baseball, Girls Tennis, Girls Golf, Football, Softball, Gymnastics, Cross Country & Girls Soccer. Cheerleading sold the most as a team at 615 balls.
