The Lady Blue Devils closed out their regular season with a 120.5-60.5 victory over GCC opponent Mentor on Senior Night. The Girls set a pool record in the 400 Free Relay in a time of 3:43.21. Event winners for Brunswick were:

The Brunswick Boys Varsity bowling team made it three straight tournament wins by capturing the crown at the Struthers Superbowl Blowout Baker tournament on Saturday. The Blue Devils led through the qualifying round, and held the first spot going into the stepladder finals. They had to wait through the completion of other final matches, and defeated Warren Harding 2 games to 0 in the final match of the day.

Brunswick girls lost a nail-biter tonight against Kenston High School at Dick Hoover Lanes. Kenston won the first regular game, and Brunswick responded by winning the second game. Kenston rolled a 180 baker game to take the lead, forcing Brunswick to win big in the last two baker games. The Blue Devils fell short by 11 pins, finishing their regular season with a record of 9-3. The conference tournament on February 7th will determine the final finishing position for the season. Good Luck Ladies.

Brunswick completed the dual match portion of their season with a strong showing against Kenston tonight at Dick Hoover Lanes. The Blue Devils were led by senior Brandon McClain, who rolled career highs with a 298 game and a 515 series. Senior Spencer Brodie also rolled a season high game of 280 enroute to a 474 series. BHS finishes the season with a record of 12-2, and are currently tied for first in the GCC-WRC conference with Solon and Mentor. The conference crown will be decided at the conference tournament Sunday Feb 7 at the Game of Wickliffe.

The JV Blue Devils finished their season this year undefeated, by beating Eastlake North this evening at Wickliffe Lanes. They win the JV conference crown once again. BHS was led tonight by Nathan Barbopoulos with a 390 series (166-224). Also scoring big for Brunswick was Jordan Gerda (161-187=348) and David Varabkanich (180-167=347). Congratulations on a fantastic season, and I look forward to seeing the improvement in the scores of these young bowlers next year !

The Blue Devils defeated Eastlake North at Wickliffe Lanes this evening, tying a school record with a Baker game of 279. Once again, BHS was led by senior Justin Vetrovsky, who bowled a 487 series (249-238). Spencer Brodie also rolled over 400, with a 448 series (196-252). Brunswick plays its final GCC conference dual match tomorrow at home against Kenston, and will celebrate Senior Night.
