Below is updated information on the start of fall sports practices and tryout information.

BHS Cross Country (Boys & Girls): Practice begins August 3, 8:00am, Hinkley Lake

BHS Football (Grades 10-12): Practice begins August 3, 7:30am, Brunswick Auto Mart Stadium

BHS Football (Freshman): Practice begins August 3, 8:00am, BHS Field #1 (north of the stadium)

BHS Golf (Boys): Tryouts begin August 2, 11:30am, at Bunker Golf Course

BHS Golf (Girls): Tryouts begin August 3, 7:45am, at Bunker Hill Golf Course

BHS Soccer (Boys): Tryouts begin August 3, 6:00pm, Brunswick Auto Mart Stadium

BHS Soccer (Girls): Tryouts begin August 3, 3:00pm, Brunswick Auto Mart Stadium

BHS Tennis (Girls): Tryouts begin August 1, 8:00am, Neura Park

Volleyball (Girls): Tryouts begin August 3, 8:00am, BHS East Gym

BHS Cheerleading: Tryouts complete

Middle School Sports:

  • 7th Volleyball – Tryouts begin August 3, 11:00am, BHS West Gym

Attendance Screening: Parent/guardians and student athletes are to conduct the following self assent before attending any athletic practice/competition BCSD Athletic Pre-Screening Instructions.  Students athletes will also have their temperature taken upon arrival to practice/competition.

Statewide Mask Order: As a reminder, all student athletes are required to wear a mask to and from practice.  Student athletes are permitted to remove masks during physical activity.  Coaches will be in masks at all times.

Ohio Travel Advisory: In accordance with Governor DeWine’s travel advisory issued on July 22nd in regards to individuals returning from travel to states that are reporting positive COVID-19 rates higher than 15%, BCSD student athletes and coaches returning from those states will not be permitted to participate in athletics for a period of 14 days once they have returned home.  The information on the travel advisory can be found at  According to the travel advisory, individuals returning from those states are recommended to self-quarantine for a period of 14 days.  The self-quarantine expectation applies to our student athletes and coaches who travel to these states as well as those who are accepting visitors to their homes from these states.  As of July 29 states include: Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Idaho, Kansas, Mississippi, and South Carolina.
