High School Mandatory Fall Sports Parents Meeting:
The Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) requires all schools to hold an informational parent meeting before each athletic season (fall, winter, spring). The fall sports parents meeting will be on Thursday, August 8th in the James J. Hayas Performing Arts Center (PAC) beginning at 6:00pm. As a reminder, it is required that a parent attend this meeting; student-athletes are encouraged to attend as well. The large group athletic department portion will run approximately 30 minutes. At 6:30pm, fall sports will break out into individual rooms for sport specific meetings with the head coaches. Please see those room assignments below:
Cheerleading (Coach Schmieder) – West Gym
Cross Country (Coach Hunter) – East Cafeteria
Football (V/JV, Coach Pinzone) – East Gym
Boys Golf (Coach Thompson) – Room 401
Girls Golf (Coach Esterak) – Room 403
Boys Soccer (Coach Dotson) – West Cafeteria
Girls Soccer (Coach Ward) – CLT
Girls Tennis (Coach Merchant) – Choir Room (119)
Volleyball (Coach Luttner) – Student Center
Middle School Mandatory Fall Sports Parents Meeting:
The OHSAA requires a similar meeting be held for Middle School sports as well. If your child participates in a fall sport at Edwards, Visnintainer, or Willetts Middle Schools, the fall sports parents meeting will also be on Thursday, August 8th in the PAC (at BHS) beginning at 6:45pm. As a reminder, it is required that a parent attend this meeting; student-athletes are encouraged to attend as well. There are no team break outs after the middle school presentation.
