Three Questions with Ally

Q: You recently committed to Indiana for volleyball. What went into that process?

A: That happened in the beginning of the summer. I was being recruited all throughout my sophomore year. I saw so many schools. I was offered by 18 other schools. Indiana was my number one choice. The second I went to Indiana, I fell in love with it. It’s always been my dream to play Big Ten volleyball. It’s completely an honor. I know I have to work really hard, but I think it’s going to be worth it.

Q: What’s your favorite part of playing volleyball?

A: The fact that I have so much fun with it. Every time I play I love it even more. I love the group effort. You need everyone to come together to do well. I love getting kills and the energy that it brings to you and the adrenaline rush that winning brings to you.

Q: What’s your ultimate goal this season?

A: Just to do well and show everyone that Brunswick is not who we used to be. We’re better than ever and we come together as a team. I want to go further than we have ever gone.
