Meet Recap

The Brunswick boys golf team shattered its season-best score on Wednesday, firing a 152 to beat North Royalton (154) and Medina (157) at Fox Meadow Country Club in Medina. The Blue Devils were paced by Evan Gray, who carded a 34, and in the process set a school record by recording 5 birdies on his last 6 holes. The five birdies in a 9 hole match was a record held by four players, most recently accomplished last season by Gray at Pine Hills. Also going low for the Blue Devils was Max Toom, who recorded 3 birdies on the day en route to a 37. Jon Cappellazzo (40), Preston Levandowski (41), Billy Gibbons (42) and Cameron MacLellan (43) rounded out the scoring for the team. Brunswick is back in action tomorrow at Pine Hills for their last match of the season against Strongsville. Go Big Blue!!!!
